Lisa has been cast as Flora Bervoix in Verdi’s masterpiece La Traviata, with Southgate Opera. To be sung in English, with orchestra performances take place 21st-23rd February 2019 at Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar. Tickets will be available nearer the time.
Lisa joins the Chineke! Orchestra and chorus for this celebratory concert featuring Britten’s The Building of the House, Beethoven’s Symphony No.4 and the world premiere of a new commission:
Since 2015 Chineke! has performed all over England and abroad. Now an Associate Orchestra of Southbank Centre, the Orchestra has commissioned a new work, Dream Song, by Daniel Kidane which sets words from Martin Luther King’s ‘I have a dream…’ speech. Dream Song has its world premiere on 9 April, which is the 50th anniversary, to the day, of King’s burial, five days after his assassination in April 1967.

Lisa has been cast in the role of “Mercedes” in Brent Opera’s upcoming production of Bizet’s Carmen. Performed in English, four performances will take place 27th-30th June at St Andrew’s Church, London, NW3 7DY. Roles are double cast with Lisa performing on 28th and 30th June.
Lisa has been cast in the chorus of Mozart’s Idomeneo, as a named Goddess in Orfeé aux enfers by Offenbach and acting in Verdi’s Rigoletto with Opéra de Baugé. Rehearsals start 17th July with performances Sunday 22nd July to Sun 5th August inclusive. More information can be found on the company’s website.
